Having been exposed to entrepreneurship from an early age, Jim worked in the successful family business after graduating from John Moores University in Liverpool. He managed the sale and exit in 2001 having helped grow the business to £20m annual sales, mostly through winning public sector tenders.
He has since held a number of prominent roles in industry, where he developed his expertise in business development, tendering and procurement. With more than 25 years’ experience, Jim has worked as a Bid Director, Procurement Manager, Head of Supply Chain Management and Project Leader with an extensive portfolio of leading international construction, recruitment and energy companies.
Jim established Tender Management Consultancy in 2008 and is responsible for sales, business development, training and quality assurance. Jim leads regular UK and international masterclasses, where he shares his proven winning formula for tendering and procurement success. He has also conducted in-house training in Europe, Middle East and Asia.
